An open relationship is a consensual arrangement where partners agree to engage in sexual or romantic relationships with others outside their primary partnership.

Last girl I dates wanted that from the beginning
I couldn’t stomach the idea of someone else sleeping with her before and after I do
I told her no
So she asked me to basically provide the sex of multiple people by being there all the time
I love sex just as much as next guy but she’s insatiable.
Eventually she told me she wanted to open the relationship at least while I’m at work
So I dumped her.
Best of luck with that but it’s not for me
I don’t even share my spoon to eat a meal…10 Reply

Anonymous(18-24)5 moHate to say but its usually the case that the woman is unhappy in the relationship she is in and usually its her hooking up with lots of guys while the man struggles to find a single woman willing

That's usually only true in cases when the woman desires the relationship to be open, or her desire for it is at least equal to the man's.
When the man seeks it more than she does, that's when things can get very fucked up.
I don't take this site very seriously. But I am deadly serious about the life-changing experience I had with a woman I met over fifteen years ago who was in an open relationship with her husband. In her case, having the open relationship was more important to the husband than it was to her. But she kept an open mind about it and agreed with the husband's arguments that he'd lose his charisma if he wasn't allowed to flirt.
They agreed they would fully disclose any relationship they had with an individual outside of their marriage. The one meeting the outside individual would disclose their intent any time they met with that person. They would keep their marriage sacrosanct and not allow anyone else into their martial bedroom let alone its bed unless they both were present and in agreement.
The plan was good in theory. But looking at it as the outside individual who developed feelings for a woman he had no intention of ever marrying, I know the flaws firsthand.
I first met her during a period of strain in their relationship. He playfully told her she should go to the movie screening at the park to take her mind off things for a while. Maybe even meet someone new. That's where I first met her. She was my opposite in most every respect. I had just turned 30, she had just turned 40, and we both thought the other was cute.
I got to the park first and had already laid my bicycle and blanket down on the grass. She rode up on her bike and didn't lay it close to mine. But we exchanged glances and so I decided to approach her when the movie was over and strike up a conversation. - 5 mo
If nothing else chatting with her would be good practice for me. We chatted about mundane things like biking in the city. So much was better in the world back then. The city was on the Left Coast and sure there were homeless, but it was before Occupy and the city didn't (yet) tolerate them setting up tent cities on the sidewalk, or shooting up or laying turds any child could walk into on the sidewalks and the streets.
Some things never change, however. When I detected her accent I asked her if she's Swedish. She laughed and told me I was the furthest I could possibly be: she was Israeli!
I laughed hard because little did this Jew know just who she was talking to! - 5 mo
Let's just say, I was redpilled before the term existed. The term may even have originated from a speech I gave at a conference organized by a far more notorious antisemite than Nick Fuentes.
She asked me what I did: I fixed people's computers, among other things, and handed her my computer repair business card.
She told me what she did and handed me her card. "It was worth it for the lolz," I thought to myself.
I began to walk away. But before I left she told me she lived just a few blocks away. Because we lived in the steepest city in America she couldn't ride her bike down the hill. She asked me if I'd at least walk down to the main street on the block below us.
I agreed, and we made small talk going down the hill. Then, just before we parted ways, she said something funny I didn't quite understand.
"I'm married, but maybe one day we might see each other."
I assumed, of course, she was referring to my business services.
Oh how little did I know.
I returned home to my Sunset apartment. I had just formed a new business venture, a certain publisher of influential right-wing ideas with a webzine that still exists. Ideas that first appeared on its pages were so beyond the pale in those days. But it's truisms have since become talking points amplified by billionaires, including one U. S President who cares very little about ideas but a lot about vanity.
"Israeli, eh? You felt sexual attraction towards one of THEM, did you? I'm not so sure we should be doing business together anymore," my business partner jokingly teased.
I was utterly flabbergasted when she called a couple days later and said she was in my part of town and wanted to know if I was free to meet with her at the Starbucks on Judah. - 5 mo
So began the most unlikely love affair. I wasn't the perverted freak I later became. I still had goals and visions. I knew I had to work on myself, but I still considered myself a successful young man who had just turned 30 that year.
I thought at best she'd be a plaything, a casual friends with benefits.
That's how it in fact started. This isn't my overactive cyber-imagination speaking. I didn't have one -- save for the countless hours of my life wasted on pornography instead of finding myself an actual female.
Believe it or not I hadn't yet been "faggotized,," as Milo would put it. I knew I wasn't 100% straight, but I was mostly straight, and I overwhelmingly preferred WOMEN. I believed I'd eventually marry one, settle down, and begin a family. I made close to six figures at my first corporate job, not that money matters but it kinda does if you're looking to find a quality woman serious about marriage and wanting kids.
Oh, the fool I was! I just knew without question I'd find another wax figures in my 30s and encounter the perfect woman when I'd least expect it.
I was a man then, a red-blooded, competitive, physically and politically courageous MAN who stood up for change in the ACTUAL world before all these so-called "influencers" fell for the corporate trap that tweets and "tiktoks" actually matter when all they do is waste precious energy and TIME.
I'm literally in tears writing this.
What? I’m not enough?

My goal here is to guide you through the fascinating maze of relationships! Open relationships can be thrilling but aren't everyone's cup of tea. If both partners genuinely agree and communicate openly, it can be quite liberating and strengthen the bond. Yet, jealousy and insecurity are sneaky. If not handled with care, it could be a red flag. Just ensure everyone is on the same page and ready to share the love abundance! 😉💘

5 moMore so than not, it's just a cuckoldry dynamic. Women can sleep around easily, while most men struggle to find women to get with. Most of the time, it's the woman that convinces her partner of the idea so she's not tied down.

5 moI guess it works for some, a minority of couples, but not for everyone.
I don't judge what consenting people do in their personal lives, so long as they don't endanger others..

5 moMy opinion is yikes. Lol. In theory it sounds great. But in reality... it's pretty easy for the lady to find a dude to doink but often more difficult for the guy. And good luck never not worrying if you're big enough to please her... But hey, to each their own.

5 moit basically means the man is being cuckolded why the woman fucks around as much as she wants and the only reason the man accepts this is cause that's the only way he can keep fucking that girl occasionally xD at least that's what i observed so far.

20 Reply 4.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. 0 this is great for women cuz they have absolutely no trouble finding men to have sex with. It's a real problem for men because it's not easy for men to begin with and it gets even harder after this happens.

Point taken. But what you described is not an open relationship. It's not even a relationship. Just a couple of people pretending to be in a relationship.
