It was flattering, I just started dating again after a tough marriage/war/other problems in my 20s, I just turned 32 and it was exciting but overwhelming. I felt like I just graduated college or just turned 18, yet I had more experiences than most 70 year old men have had at the same time.

Lets look at your statement “nothing better to do” could men “you’re the best they could get”
I just started dating and she was conventionally attractive AND she was getting her MD, she was already in the medical field making money and just got divorced, by the time I figured out she was just bored and it was my ass that wanted more we ended it, but I never her took her seriously in the beginning, as I wasn’t taking many things serious in my life at that point at all. I really was living like how I felt, like a 21 year old. But at least I know what my broke-ass could’ve been capable of without war and a bad marriage in my early 20s

No surprise there. That's how people have always been they don't really take male female relationships seriously. Probably they never have "all is fair in love and war". That pretty much sums it up pain and misery to the point of suicide even but it means nothing. Why would anyone perpetuate such a thing?
