You okay not finding a partner ever and dying alone?

I think most people would like to have a partner. Not having one doesn't mean you'll die alone. Even having one doesn't mean you won't die alone. The circumstances of your death could be an accident at work. Or your SO is away on a trip. You die in your sleep.

All of those situations mean you die "alone." I think it's more important to die knowing you're loved.

Having a partner is very nice. Sometimes it's achievable. Sometimes not. People do their best. Sometimes no one comes along who jibes with you. Can't focus on this. Hope springs eternal.

I think not many people are okay with never finding a partner and dying alone, but some will pretend that they are fine with it. But we are only human and social beings that crave love and affection. Even the few that don't still crave some kind of human interaction. It doesn't have to be romantic or sexual, but we all need some type of companionship with someone. And dying alone would be very sad and not really what any human truly wants.

Alone? Or just single? Because I've got people who care about me. I'm not alone. But yeah, I'm OK to die single at this point. I mean, I'm not trying to. But I'd much rather die single than in a bad relationship just for the sake of not being single.👍

I have never had that thought. I always knew I would marry.  I had to wait until I was 21, but it happened eventually.
