She knows I’m single and been single for a good period of time, bc she be telling me how she be hating being single at times so we kinda talk about it here and there but lately I have shut this conversation down bc it was getting out of hand, until once again she brings up my relationship and starts conversating with me on how am I going to meet my man if I’m not much going out person and man don’t approach woman much now days etc this lady she’s way older close to 60 and going through a divorce at the moment, than she brought this guy up that I don’t like bringing up he liked me and I don’t like him back and she knows I don’t like that brought up yet she had too and mentioned how he was the one for me and I missed my chance etc anyways she is trying to be HelpFul or helpless I’m trying to understand what’s her problem?

To me it sounds like this lady is trying to be helpful, but she’s coming off as a nuisance. I would just tell her that you can make your own decisions and that you don’t really want her advice on the relationship topic. Also, you can remind her that you’re not interested in the guy if that helps you.


It kind of sounds like she doesn’t want you to waste your life, but you’re young and you’ll have plenty of time to find love. (in my opinion)
