Definitely cooking together.. you share the space of the kitchen with each other, and have to communicate with each other while under the pressure of making a good meal.

You can see whether someone will step in to help, or just hover and tell you what to do. If something goes wrong, is someone getting blamed? Or does it turn to laughter… and teamwork to fix things… You get to see how patient or impatient they are as well.

I think if cooking together feels like a bonding moment rather than a stressful situation… then it’s a good sign.

I like the answer for cooking. But I don't think it's about one chore. It's more about dividing chores that shows compatibility. Having someone who wants to share doing them so you both can sit down and spend time together quicker.
