For me i love the possessive jealous type. Red flag and definitely not husband material but I’m crazy like that 😜

And i know some guys like the drama queens. Some guys like the princess-complex types.

I've always fallen for damaged women.

I have what I call "White Knight Syndrome," where I have the unfortunate habit of trying to "rescue" women from bad/abusive relationships. I become their savior, their protective safe space, and they fall for me.

It never works out, though, because they end up having severe trust issues from their previous relationship, because, duh: damaged, but I'm stupid, and keep doing it. 😞

The problem is that women like this develop a "daddy complex" about you, and that's not sexual.
Do you think you cannot feel powerfully attracted to a girl who does NOT need rescuing or saving? Is that the only thing you feel you can offer a girl, and if she doesn't need that, you have nothing else to offer? It could be that you need to talk to a good therapist to find out WHY you always seek out damsels in distress!

@Keyboardkat I don't think that at all, actually. There's no deeper psychological reason behind it other than the fact that I was younger, and found it flattering to be needed, that's all.

Once I realized the pattern, I've been able to curb that specific tendancy.

i guess not exactly that way, specifically

i’ve only been with a passive person and it was not a good match. I’m firey, opinionated, and i have a lot of energy. couldn’t get him to care about anything

and i guess that experience instilled in me a fantasy to be with someone assertive who knows what he wants and pursues it unapologetically and makes me feel desired. or at least a little friction

I’m not proud of it. just a life experience and now anyone short of overbearing won’t do anymore

there are plenty of men like that out there... so, there's not really a need to go from an extreme to the other... going from passive to possessive, lol

it’s more about a fantasy. obviously not a practical thing you’d go after. and the guys who say they’re into “crazy” and “drama” know full well that they’re going for trouble in the long term

but anyways, it’s where i am right now. can’t handle indecisive and cannot speak their mind. it would have to be the way opposite end of the pendulum for me to even take any notice. as unhealthy as that is

No i love to be happy and have a happy life. And I have full trust and respect for the girl I would be with. And I know she can handle her self in any circumstances, and she knows if you can't. Then she will come to me

And she's trying to make me jealous , because she wants a reaction from me. it's not gonna work me , I would just leave it right there and go home.

I am always cautious and alert and for me protecting myself is more important than exploring things. Hence If I see the smallest of red flags or toxic traits in a person then the person will be out of my life immediately. I have no tolerance towards such people. Be it a man or a woman. No exceptions here.
