I'm only 20 so I do not have a long term view or experience. For me I had a great childhood, middle school sucked as I entered puberty and in high school it was in the middle of COVID. That made dating, relationships and sex a challenge. Currently I'm really enjoying college, learning, great sex , being in fantastic shape (still broke) but I feel like it is the best time in my life so far. I know that will change after college with jobs, hopefully, marriage, kids, etc.

It’s gotten much easier for me, but that’s probably because I avoid the two things that make people grow old before their time, cars and smart phones. I walk everywhere and I almost always leave my phone at home when I go out, unless I need to call someone.

Life doesn’t really get “easier,” it just gets clearer. You gain experience, thicker skin, better boundaries, and you stop tolerating BS. Responsibilities increase, sure, but drama often decreases because you learn to say no, walk away, and protect your peace. Less chaos, more control.

It depends on if you are an idiot or not. Plenty of older people lack wisdom and common sense because they do not learn.
