If you were lucky enough to find a long lost treasure would you share it with anyone or keep it all to yourself?

I would do the right thing. Melt down all the gold and silver cultural artifacts into solid bars after removing any precious stones. Now that I've erased any evidence of the culture that mined the metals, diamonds, emeralds, and rubies, and the artisans who made the works of art, I can market the booty with no worries of too many questions being asked. I'm thinking Middle Eastern Arab oil states are the right place to market the product. Kings and Sheiks don't ask a lot of questions and don't really answer to anyone. Isn't that basically the model European Colonialism used for hundreds of years?

I wouldn't share something small and personal: a necklace my mom wore. A ring of my dad's. Unless I thought my son might want it. As someone else said, a lottery windfall? As soon as I did what I had to with the money, whatever is left would be parsed out to family and friends.

It depends on how much it was. If it was a billion or more, yes, I'd share. If it was much less, not at first. I'd try to do something with it to eventually build it into a billion and THEN start sharing it.
