In some situations this is very real and has been the case. There are women who believe being very caring and understanding of the guy will make him love her or want to stay with her, but in reality it maybe is a little smothering for him. Make no mistake: men do want a woman who shows him love and care and concern, but some women maybe smother a man a bit too much with it and it gets annoying.
