my first serious girlfriend. we broke up basically because i was young and dumb and wanted to be single. not because i wanted to hook up with other girls but i just felt like being "tied down" would limit my ability to have fun

we stayed really good friends after that and even to this day. she was beautiful, kind, funny, free spirited and we had tons in common. i often feel like i should've asked her out (we had a sort of will we won't we dynamic for years) to see what would come of it but i think i was afraid of ruining our friendship

Trust me I know I had a 2 year relationship it was really good she received a job offer she couldn't refuse in Cali and she took it we tried to stay in touch but she's in Cali and I live in New York City.
