Just curious. It happened to me recently. The person who said that was reprimanded for it, but now I just have a difficult time talking to him. I actively avoid him.

I would forget about it. Work gets stressful. Generally, you judge people by their actions, never by their words. The reason is everybody lies.

Also some people just talk like that. What you take offence to is totally up to you, you get what I mean? That's what working and getting along with other people is all about.
