Is my coworker trying to provoke more drama or reconcile with me?

There is a girl whom I kind of liked at work. I was cordial, but, never personal. She would always try to talk to me or ask personal questions if I'm single. Long story short, the work team was toxic.

Out of the blue, she went to my boss about how i was trying to start a "relationship" with her. Nothing developed of course. And I asked boss to remove me from team which boss did. Then, the girl started spreading rumors around my 1st job, 2nd job and people I know about how I follow her, I make force her to talk to me, and I make her stay back. Nothing developed. Then I had people harass me that were friend of friends of hers. I had my boss take care of them which worked to shut them down. Again, nothing developed.

Keep in mind, I have not said ANYTHING (since this situation occurred = almost 4 weeks ago) to this girl whom i got along with before. And I thought it was the end of it. That was till she started roaming around my hang out spot for work and has been doing this now for two weeks. Where before she did NOT do this where now she does this almost every other day. And she tends to look at me as well when I'm happily interacting with others.

Question: How do you see this? Is she looking for trouble or to mend things out?

I haven't said anything more because I dont want her to be twisting stuff more. But at the same time, I am open to talk IF she approaches me. However even then, i wouldn't know what to do if she does approach m

It definitely sounds like a lot of drama. If she’s already gone to the boss then I wouldn’t hesitate to do the same.

I just haven’t more because I want to be like certain 100%. Like I want a pattern if that makes sense? I’m just surprised she hasn’t let this go if I’m honest…

Here’s how I see it — I got to work to get the money. That’s it and that’s all. When I clock in, I pick up whatever is going on there, and when I clock out I leave it at the door. If I’m somehow taking issues from work home with me then it’s a problem, point blank period. I don’t go to work for drama, I go to get paid so I can afford to fund shit off the clock that actually matters. My real life. So if things are rocky at your job, then you should consider adopting a similar mindset so that you also won’t hesitate to do whatever needs to be done in order for your shifts to go smoothly. She did not wait for 100% certainty, nor did she wait for patterns. She simply acted on how she felt with zero regard for you. So maybe you should do the same. You don’t need our validation, what you need is a comfortable work environment.
