I think anyone trustworthy and loving I can love as long as they meet my minimum standards of of attractiveness, virtue, and don't have too much baggage I have to carry. It will usually be some time before I reach this stage, I have been hurt so I am more guarded now and less accepting of things as a result. Changes that happen are I usually stop living for myself and start living for the other.
