This song is from the 80's. Has love really changed so much since then?
A member wrote his opinion on one of my questions last week and he said thatt love isn't cool anymore. Do you agree with this statement?
So I think the deepest love ur ever going to be in, is probably in high school. Why, cuz in hs we really don't know as much as we think we do at that time. And in high school, we don't know the differences of things like real, or fake. So we end up thinking every 1 is real and fall for any 1 that is willing to be called a girlfriend or boy friend, we can no longer live without this person. Now a days we know of all the bs games people play, and suspect of every 1 trying to get to know us. We put up walls, and tho some are able to stick their arms through these walls, we don't ever really drop em.
Back in the day people would work out their problems by communicating. Now a days, people move on so fast because they don't care about the drama of trying to work any thing out. It's easier to just start over. Fresh. So yea, love now sucks

The thing about love is you don't find love love finds you
And my belief is there's so many different types of love out there yes anything is possible you just have to be at the right place at the right time with the right smile
Love never was possible in any year. Love can put its tentacles into our lives but itself operates from a place where time and space don't exist. ㅤ
This kind of love is largely only available to the young. For women, that largely means her 20s (with rare exceptions into the early 30s) and for men (who have FAR fewer opportunities in their 20s) into their 40s.
This is the kind of love you can only have if you are willing to struggle together and build together as a team. You will never have this kind of love when you are set in your ways, as nearly everyone is from middle age onwards.
That may not be what a lot of people want to hear, but it's the truth. And it's always been this way.
The modem division between men and women that is a result of radical Feminism has only made such love much more rare, even for the young.

I beg to differ with your opinion here.
I found love when I was 20 and got married and we had a son together. Unfortunately after 4 years we ended up divorced.💔
I've been single for most of my life. I dated a lot of guys for many years but never found love during my dating years.
But when I was 63 years old I found the love of my life and he was 59 at the time.
We fell deeply in love and were very happy together for 6 years until he died suddenly on September 8th of 2023.
Neither of us were old fuddy duddies set in our ways. Just the opposite!! We had a blast together every single day!! We laughed until we cried because we were so funny together.
We were both easy going people and young at heart.
He was a total surprise in my life as I wasn't looking for another relationship at 63 years old. But it happened and I have such wonderful memories of my Patrick John. He was one in a million.
I don't believe that nothing is impossible when it comes to love. There are NO set rules. Only the ones that people make which stop them from having love.
There were many people who met in my apartment building when it was an assisted living facility. Three couples got married and others were living together.
It was so cute 🥰 watching them together and in love.❤️
You are confusing "possible" and "probable". If you took 1000 women in your situation, how many are likely to find a soul mate in their late 60s?
Exceptions exist - lotto jackpots ARE won by people sometimes - but the vast majority of lotto players lose their money.
Women ask about possibilities - "can you win the Lottery?" - while men tend to talk about probabilities "what are the odds of winning the Lottery?" Men understand that exceptions occur, but so many women don't seem to understand probabilities and just assume that if something is POSSIBLE, they can count on it and even feel entitled to it. That's a great way to set yourself up for disappointment most of the time.
@MrOracle
A lot of senior citizens are very active in their community and are offered all kinds of places to meet people. Probably more than you realize. So it's possible and maybe even probable.
It's the younger generations who are having the hardest time finding a love relationship because they are on social media sites being brainwashed to all believe in the same standards the opposite sex has to have to even acceptable dating material.

@MrOracle
Just proving my point.
I dont think things have really changed much. If you wanted that kind of relationship. there probably are others that feel the same way. Whitesnake is pretty good. Years ago I did business with some talent agency, I supplied clothing and uniforms to filming companies that came to the city. It was mostly police stuff but one time Whitesnake came to town to do a music video and I supplied them with some stuff. i never heard of them before.
This song sounds mostly like lust because he is asking the questions IS THIS LOVE?
Devoted love will never have to ask IS THIS LOVE... I'm sorry to give reality checks on here however most "guys" are in a cycle of lust and their friends are also in their same cycle because birds of a feather do flock together.
Cool song but i don't know if you're refering to me in your question cause yes i agree that love ain't never like it was before, for a simple fact which is that it ain't simple, honest and lasting the way it used to be...
love's still the best thing ever... for those who make it be
yep and for those who can see past the foggy lust lenses.
Love. Love never changes.
(At least, that's what the Fallout series of games taught me. Or was that War? Very confusing.)
Kinda have to. Not listening to radio much but it seems love songs aren't made any more.
Think it is regarded as a temporary abnormal state that people occasionally fall into but recover from.
It's still possible
Nope
