Trending & News Everyone has their own stories which aren't really anyone else's business. You don't know what happened between two people. I have been with married men because their wives stopped having sex with them, for whatever reason, usually babies. They still loved their wives and didn't want to leave them, but their need for sex doesn't just stop. I was young and pretty and I wasn't looking to wreck their lives by making demands on them. For me it was just a stress-free relationship where I could come and go as I pleased, and that's really all we both wanted.
You never know what people have agreed upon between themselves in a relationship. You can't ascertain the whys of two people staying together. Sometimes it's foolish, sometimes it's rational, other times it simply works for the people involved for other reasons.
It doesn't surprise me anymore. I've come to believe some women actually need their guy to cheat otherwise he no longer seems like he's valuable.
I brought a beautiful piece of furniture to my mom once. She loved it till she found out I found it on the side of the road.
"Why would I want something someone else doesn't want"
She said.
And I think I've noticed that same mentality applied towards men in other people.
But what if your mom was the single source of that very belief you're holding?
Jk jk, no session today
@Maybe_Maybe_not it was more of an illustration than the source of the thought 😂
Not to me.
I agree with the current opinions of both anon 18-24, plus screenwriter, and loveyouoak.
My aim on GAG is to decode relationships and the crazy stuff we put our hearts through.
Honestly, it’s not surprising at all. People stay for history, kids, money, fear of being alone, or because the lovebombing and trauma bond are strong. Cheating is a massive red flag, but feelings don’t disappear just because trust is broken.
Forgiveness happens. Forgetting rarely does.

Cheating is a part of life for most people. It will happen to most of us at least once in a lifetime. It is hardly the end of the world.
it doesn't surprise me... because it can be common enough
If it's not the first time, yes, but many of us learn that lesson at some point
They stay because they don’t have anywhere else to go
It always depends on the circumstances. There are rarely clean hands, and love is still love
Maybe they're just too in love to leave.
some couples can work out their differences.
