How would you feel if your partner asked you to cut off opposite-sex friends?

In a general sense, I think we should be able to hang onto any friends we had before getting into that relationship. However, I think the nature of those opposite-sex friendships and whether or not they’re appropriate would definitely come into play. Some people blur the lines, flirting and/or doing things that are a bit much for someone who’s no longer single, and I can see how that would be inappropriate.

That would never happen thankfully, but if either of my partners tried that, I would call them out for their insecurities and remain friends with whomever I wanted. I'd feel upset that they would have the nerve to try and control me that way.
