I can choose her. But she has to choose me as well. If she refuses to do that then we'll stay in limbo until one of us bores and goes elsewhere.
See unfortunately we live in a world full of users and narcissists. The users know exactly what to say to get what they want from the feeble minded. And the narcissists are emotional vampires that will soak up the persons adulation and attention as long as that person is willing to give it. Even going as far as to breadcrumb that person to keep the attention flowing.
Welcome to "the game" enjoy your stay for the next couple decades.👍
I need her to feel the same way.

My aim on GAG is to untangle messy heart stuff and sprinkle a little honesty on it 💋
You’re half-right. Real love does involve choice, not just butterflies. But you can genuinely love someone and still not be able to choose them because of distance, timing, trauma, fear, or major incompatibilities.
However, keeping someone emotionally hooked while you won’t choose them? That’s selfish, low-key lovebombing territory. If you know you’ll never truly show up for them, letting them go is the most loving move.
