I didn’t get my first girlfriend until 28, and she’s a fucking cheater. I’ve been with her for a year and every day I hate her more for it.

YES!! I dropped mine like a hot brick and thought I'd never find anyone else but, I DID find 3 others, it's just that, like all of my previous ones, they never lasted very long, either. I still have great hopes for my present one who just broke up with me, today. But, at least, this time, it wasn't because of me or because she found someone else. She's just having a rough time, right now and I'm hoping she'll let me help her get through it. I know she has them every once in a while but, I still love her madly and want to spend the rest of my life with her. I've had to deal with MUCH worse via my 2nd girlfriend and we still tried to stay together so, I see no reason at all why THIS one can't work out. I mean, if I can deal with that shit and still be very close with her for the bulk of the following 3 decades, this recent stuff is pretty much a piece of cake.
