Is it really rare for a popular person to stay kind and loyal for life?

I knew someone like that has maintained the same personality since she was 10 years old. She's one of my long-term FB friends. She's now 28 years old (my class) and has been married for 5 years; they have two kids.

She was quite popular in school but never liked bullying others. I once saw her verbally reprimanding two of her friends for picking on a quiet boy, telling them to stop or she's going to tell the teacher. She was just 10 at the time. She's always been mature for her age and well liked at school.

Years later, she's still a respectful woman and has those same personality traits she has as a kid. She's a child speech therapist by now, likes working with children. She's been also doing an anti-bullying campaign. Is that combination rare in a person; to be popular (still is as an adult), have lots of options (same thing in relationship; she married the same man she met in HS), she could've been a bully and taken advantage of others if she wanted and she would've had followers but she never went that route. Is that indeed rare? To be popular but still decent out of choice, even stable in relationship? I've never seen her smoking nor getting drunk either. Wow. I've always felt like she was the once in a million person, like a person that only comes to Earth once in a lifetime.
