Long story short I was obsessed with him and he rejected me. It was the first time id really liked someone to the point I didn't care about the fear of a relationship and just wanted him.
I was very shy, never had a boyfriend and no chance in hell was I ever gonna ask a guy out. If I ever found feelings for someone or the other way round id run and hide but with him it was different I think i genuinely fell in love with him and I wanted the hole world to know.
He gave me the impression he liked me too. Hed buy me gifts, touch me in flirty ways, do whatever I asked of him, his friends teased him whenever I was around. I thought it was obvious he liked me back so I stopped doubting myself and really had to fake some confidence in me to tell him how i really felt.
Instead I was stupid got drunk and told someone i was in love with him who I shouldn't have trusted and he told everyone.
He got one of his mates to tell me he wasn't interested and was abit of a coward if im honest. He constantly made me feel crazy afterwards and would play with my head even if it was unintentional.
Hed be super kind to me and id catch him stairing but then hed say stuff like he was only kind to me because he's a gentleman and treats all women like that which isn't ture at all.
I couldn't take the rejection and we were both too immature to talk it out so we drew cold towards each other.
I haven't seen him in 7 years but last I heard he's a single farther now. Im embarrassed about how I behaved back then and hoped it never get bought back up again.
Its mutual friends 30th birthday this weekend and im dreading going as I know he'll be there, I've already warned my husband incase anyone brings it up to embarrass me.
I said I didn't want to go because I knew he was coming too but my friends have begged me and said i can't keep avoiding him
