Do you like to go shopping with your wife or girlfriend?

There are rumors that it's something we guys do because it's expected... sometimes... but it's not something we really enjoy. There are also rumors that the girls don't really like us with them when they shop.

I actually enjoy it, but it totally depends on the vibe. If it’s her trying on outfits, teasing, asking “so, hot or not?” and we end up flirting in the changing room mirror, I’m in.

If it’s 4 hours of wandering, indecisive, no purpose, that’s red-flag energy for my sanity 😂

It’s not my favorite, but it was sometimes unavoidable in the name of efficiency. My feeling is that women don’t really want us around, but they take the hit because having a man hold your purse and the day’s booty is a status symbol. I’ve never had a woman who took my opinion into account when considering what she should or shouldn’t wear. So i never wanted to be there myself.
Sometimes it just happened, but i often put a limit on the amount of time and the number of stores we would visit if i didn’t have a direct need to be there otherwise.
I believe this sense of efficiency is what created the “supermarket”. Where two people can divide and conquer all of the shopping for themselves, the family and the home. The limitations of the supermarket have led to the giant home improvement stores including housewares, clothing and groceries, however limited. We can fairly expect to see these areas expand as time goes by.
Now that’s a store that i don’t mind spending time in even if i don’t have an immediate need! And “they” know that. Ell oh ell!
Maybe your follow up question should be the same question directed at the women.

My ex-wife would occasionally pull out a gun and force me to go to the cloth store with her. Of all the boring excursions you can have, this one is the worst. The absolute wurst! I would tease her about the ambulance on standby behind the store, waiting to haul away husbands who died of boredom.

95% of the time, no.

I don't "shop" - I order things online and I have little use for most physical stores. The few I used to shop at are long gone.

Really the only exception is when we travel and she wants to see the local souvenirs. I can deal with that most of the time.

not really but women like me to go shopping with them because I'll tell them the truth about what they pick out if it looks good on them or not. I won't tell them it looks good if it doesn't. Especially if I'm in a relationship with them.
