I was watching a YouTube video and a female dating counsellor said, if you feel lonely or sad over a missed romance, the best way to get rid of that, is to expand your social events.
If you are not able to host parties or mini vacations due to busyness or limited social connections, you could find something to keep you busy, such as learning the piano, or playing a long term computer game that requires years of strategy to go through, or beginning a work out regimen or seeing if you be used to help out at a charity or food bank or at a cultural arts festival or at a culinary event, or you could join a bird watching group, a star gazing group, a gardening group, a running group, etc...
Now piano lessons used to cost up to $80 an hour, but now A. I. can teach you piano for the price of a weekly newspaper. You could also play chess with strangers online or you could volunteer for a suicide crises hotline to help people in crises.
Missing someone is a natural byproduct of caring about them. Fighting the emotion only amplifies the tension. You just have to discover the inner strength to move on.
I had a long distance relationship a log time ago. Sometimes I would write her a letter and sometimes I would just listen to sad music in my bedroom.
I do too, but it’s hard to shift focus if I really miss them
I adjust my aim.
Reload, and try again.
I call them
