my boyfriend ignored me for months while he was in the Army

he didn't really say he I'm breaking up with you he just didn't answer me or talk to me pretty much avoided me and at times he would check in on me..he got out in July and ever since he's been talking to me again on fcb almost every night ..hes the one who initiates the convs etc.. So I'm basically asking for advice on what to do..i don't care much I take things as they come but I have strong feelings for him..and I don't like to wait for him cause I've done that for so long and how do I even know he likes me..he talks to me as nothing has happened like we never had a fight etc..and I would like to talk to him about the past but I don't want to make him mad now that things are good..i want to see him cause last time we met was in April ish..and I don't wanna be the one asking to meet that's needy and desperate.. I love having him around again I'm much happier etc..we have so much fun together.. What to do =(

so instead of breaking up with you, he dumped you via ignoring, and now that he's back he acts like nothing ever happened? just let him go and replace him. he can tell that your vulnerable to him and you feel so strongly about him you don't wanna make him mad and he's taking advantage of it. he knows he has the upper hand and that you are pretty much gonna accept the scraps he throws at you so why try harder? if your not gonna leave him then just get used to it. he was wrong for doing that to u, but it sounds like your gonna accept it anyway..

i know it seems that way to u. But I don't pay much attention to him now he's the one running after me not me running for him.. And I personally don't think he knows how to apologize yet

You can try talking it out, but honestly if he TRULY cared for you, he wouldn't have done that. He would miss you and make effort to talk to you. He wouldn't just want to hang with army friends and be single. It seems like you are a bit of a fall back for him. You should find someone who ALWAYS wants to be with you.

Say, '[Whatever pet name you use], I wanna talk to you about something that's been upsetting me.', and he'll be all, 'What is it?', and then you bring it up; don't lay it on all confrontational, and assume good faith, but make sure he knows its upsetting you and that you're a bit more than curious.
