I had a class with a boy. Within the first week I could tell he was interested in me. He'd constantly try to talk to me. He tried to hold my hand multiple times and constantly touched me. He loved when he made me laugh. And would say really sweet things under his breath when we sat together. And he would constantly stare at me during class and when we passed in the hall.
HOWEVER! During this time, I was completely infatuated with someone else. So I kind of ignored his advances a bit. He would look sad and shy whenever I ignored his little advances.
Then when the year ended I finally realized how truly wonderful and friendly and warm and kind he was. And I saw something in him I hadn't seen before. So I started instantly paying him much more attention. I gave him my number and he started texting me all the time. But when summer started he began to ask me to hang out. I'm kind of weird and didn't really take him up on his offer ever. He literally spent the entire summer texting me almost everyday asking me to hang out. He began getting really intense with his texts too. Like listing off every part of my body that he liked and telling me how he wanted to always be with me. How he was constantly thinking about me. How he wanted my e-mail address so he could send me more detailed messages. And once texted that he was in love with me. But I never took him up on his offer to hang out.
When school started again, I began to return his advances. And he acted excited and happy and when I finally texted him and told him I wanted to hangout sometime, he texted back instantly trying to plan when we would get together and telling me how happy he finally was and how much he liked me.
AAAANDDDD the VERY NEXT DAY he ignored me. And has been ignoring me since. I have NO IDEA what is going on in his head. And its making me so sad. I feel like someone has punched me in the stomach. He doesn't even say hello when we pass in the halls. He just gives me some weird smirk and raises his eyebrows. He hasn't texted me since. And hasn't said anything about when we should plan to get together. How does he go from chasing me for 6 months to ignoring me the very second I give him what he wants.
