Are guys possessive of their FWBs?

I'm in a friends with benifits relationship & deep down inside I'm very possesive of my partner. We were previously in a relationship before so I figure that's where it stems from.

At a party he danced with me and while I tried to walk away he stated "your not going any where"

I brung up before if I could talk to other guys and he said "its your life" but deep down inside are guys as possesive over thier partner also?

So far I'm dealing with what we do pretty well. I enjoy it and I know no matter how much we fight or argue he always comes back. The last time we were intimate was April of 08 until Jan 4 and ever since its been friends not friends and the list goes on.

My FWB is very possessive even if he has no right to be. If he sees me out with friends say for dinner he will call me and ask who my new Boyfriend is or tell me to make up my mind what it is that I want him or some other guy. It's kind of funny that he is so possessive but does not want me as a Girlfriend don't you think?

Friends with benefits is cool-but for 9 months? Hell no. If you are intimate with a guy for that long he might as well be your Boyfriend instead of getting jealous and doin the on and off again relationship.

FWB relationships are nothing but trouble, in my opinion.

It's impossible to be physical with people and not get emotionally involved, especially for girls.

To answer your question: yes. Guys in FWB relationships often see her as an exclusive girlfriend, and can feel possessive.

I am NEVER possessive with my FWBs. First, I have no right; if I wanted to be possessive, I'd be her boyfriend.

Second, deep-down feelings for your FWB are a warning that something else is going on that MUST get aired out. Otherwise, when those feelings come out, they come out ugly.
