How common is it for a college senior to date a college freshman?

If you had asked me in high school I would have said no way it's weird. We are on two totally different pages in our lives. I still kind of believe that. But anyway, an RA in my building is a senior and at first I was thin king I should not even bother talking to him because he's on his way out of college and I just got here. But then my friend and I talked about it and she thinks I should go for it. But I just don't know...What do you guys think? Would he be weirded out if I, the freshman expressed my interest in dating him?

I had a few friends who were senior/freshman couples. Not very many but a few. It's not terribly weird, just so long as they are mature about it.

Not at all. I dated a senior as a freshman in high school. A senior in high school, that is lol.

In college it doesn't matter what age people are so it's probably fairly common. It's not like the senior/freshman in high school thing.
