Im 22 and my boyfriend is 30.... Is he too old for me?

Well I have a 30 year old boyfriend and He said that he loves me and I don't love him but I do like him... He also wants to start a family with me, and I still want to party and stuff..Not ready to settle down yet... but I really like him...What should I do?

I'm 22 as well and I don't feel that 30 is too old for me. But for YOU in this case, it may be, because you want totally different things in life right now. I still enjoy partying and whatnot, but I'm also ready to commit if it feels right, and not start a family right away, but possibly work toward it and set up the groundwork needed, lol. So assuming we want similar things, 30 doesn't have to be too old. I feel more mentally stimulated by older guys most of the time, so it just makes more sense to me. You're not sure you love the guy yet or if you're going to, so maybe you should see where things go before you make any decisions. Tell the guy you don't want to move too fast. If you already know you don't want those things with him, you'd probably both be better off going your separate ways and finding others who are more suited to where you're at in life.

You need to tell him that you don't think you're both on the same page. And the sooner the better, since it will only get more difficult as time goes on. Maybe you can agree to slow things down a bit and find some middle ground where you both feel comfortable in the relationship. It's tough when one partner wants to get more serious, and it isn't always possible to "rewind" back to a more casual relationship, but you won't know until you talk to him about it. One thing is for sure, he deserves to know where you stand, especially since he is developing strong feelings for you and trying to build his future around that.

He is not too old, but you do want different things in life, therefore maybe you should spnd some time away from each other. It can help you to just let loose and do you freestyle partyin thing.

It sounds like you know you don't want to settle down yet. If you like him enough see if it turns into love and see if he will wait for you in regards to a family. If I were him you would be too young for me. You've shown me why how you want to concentrate on partying. Plus at 30, 22 just isn't mentally stimulating imo. I'd go for 27+ ideally.
