Dating a younger woman? Too big an age gap?

It is a 10 year age gap, she is 21 and I am 31. Met in a bar and hit it off. Ended up staying at hers all weekend. She is a very pretty, smart and witty young woman and I get the impression she likes me a lot. I am (obviously) attracted to her and find her fun and interesting but wonder whether it is just too much an age gap?

I'm young at heart and certainly look younger than my age but still have l0 years more life experience that (even a mature young woman) she won't have had yet. At the moment it feels quite harmless and fun but I know how quickly younger woman become attached and I don't want to hurt her months down the line if my suspicions that an age gap like this is too much? Or should I just give it a go as right now it is pretty fun and harmless?

I don't think it is bad at all. True, world experience only comes with age, but since you do have more experience maybe you could help her out some on what not to do (from mistakes you have made, things you have experienced that she may be going through, ect.).

10 years is definitely not bad, and it isn't like she is a teenager so it shouldn't be a problem with others either.

As long as you both are okay with it then I'd say go for it!

That's what happened with my sister. Look where she is now; married to that man and has a cute little baby girl. I say go for it if you guys have a lot in common and are pretty close in maturity.

My mom and stepdad are 14 years apart. I don't think there is anything wrong with 10 years but what do I know.

If it seems alright, go for it. My sister and her boyfriend have an eleven year gap, and she was even younger than that when they got together.

Look at it this way. Right now, she's about 2/3 your age. In 10 years, she'll be 3/4 your age. She'll catch you in no time.

It depends on the people involved. I have dated guys with closer to 20 year age gap and it works fine. The guys are younger than me though but that doesn't make a difference. My current boyfriend is 13 years younger than me and he usually dates older women so his family and friends accept it since they are already used to it.

Me and my boyfriend have a 25 year age gap, together for 2 years... I worship him.
If you are both on the same wavelegth than why not? Do what feels right!

just as long as you two are of legal age. Age is just a number, besides when you get older it won't be a big deal anymore. My girlfriend is 18 and I'm 28 and we really like each other.
