Why am I so insecure in my relationship?

I've been with my boyfriend for a little over a year.. We've been living together for about 4 months. Most of the time I'm incredibly happy and in love. I'm a heavy set girl and he's very toned & athletic.. He makes me feel like I'm the most gorgeous woman in the whole world..

Having said that, lately I've been snooping around his stuff (fb, IG, texts) TRYING to catch him doing something.. The problem is.. He's not doing anything. Whenever he bumps into an old girlfriend/fling while we're out and about.. I get really annoyed that he's still nice to them. When I see that he's been chatting with a girl on FB (about completely harmless thing) I completely blow up at him.

What's wrong with me!? Why am I so eager to try and catch my boyfriend cheating on me? I need help because he may love me now.. But I'm afraid my craziness will completely drive him away one day :(

You have a great thing going for you, not a lot of people can say that for their relationships. I think you should start showing more affection towards your boyfriend and stop acting so insecure. Most guys prefer women who are confident. Be thankful that you still have time to change the situation. You said you're heavy set, would you feel more confident if you were slimmer? If you think you would then you should try dieting (the right way) and pick up dancing or something fun just to get your heart rate up. It is a proven fact that people who exercise are usually more confident because of all the hormones it releases.

You need to stop snooping on your boyfriend, everyone needs a little privacy. Learn to trust him instead and accept that you are gorgeous in his eyes, just like how he's gorgeous in your eyes. You're probably insecure because you feel like you're unworthy to be with him, but you need to accept the fact that love comes in all shapes and forms. You just happen to be the apple of his eye :) live with it.

I'm having the exact problem. My guy makes me feel adored, beautiful... I'm a bit curvy and the fact that he's older makes me paranoid that he's comparing me with past flames. I console myself by thinking that, whatever happens, it is with ME that he is right now. In the same way, your boyfriend has been with you for over a year now. At this point, your relationship has grown way past physical attraction and has taken deeper root - something that I bet he hasn't had with every other girl he's been with. Yet he has with you. What does that tell you?

You are correct with one thing though: you might drive him away, but not because of the reasons you thought of, but because of your lack of faith in him.

You are insecure with yourself.

My guess is the source is your weight/body image as it was the thing that you used to describe you and your boyfriend.

That is the biggest source.

If you are unhappy with that you need to work out a plan to change it. Small changes are the best way.

Losing weight is not the 1st way to go, you need to feel good, to feel accomplished.

Start with small walks, you feel great outside with the air and slowly work up

With how long u've been with him you probably already know you can trust him, and before you snoop through his things you know you won't find anything.

When I was heavier I had no Ideal why girls I found attractive would ask me out and this mindset got in the way.

You wanna feel better then working out will probably help and wear clothes that compliment you he'll like it an u'll feel better once your more comfortable w/you
