Why do "cougars" act so much more aggressive toward me than younger ones?

Anonymous
I'm in my 20s, and today a "cougar" at a bar decided to drop her pants some to show off her backside, and acted annoyed I looked away; she was singing a made up song that went like "I wanna F you", then she started complaining about hot flashes. If I was into women who are at the "hot flashes" point in their lives, I'd be in Heaven. I'm polite, and am a gentleman and don't encourage that behavior. I have an older friend who has young girls flirting with him. We play in a band together. He's a grey-haired, straw hat, sandals wearing guy; not exactly a suave or distinguished look. He laughs, seeing cougars act really aggressive around me. So why would older women go for me, but younger flirt with him? Is it 'cause flirting with someone who's a way different age is low-pressure and not as scary as approaching when they're the same age? 'Cause for me personally, approaching women I don't know who are my age age takes more courage than talking to some older woman I don't know. Sound like it might be the same for the girls? I'm not completely hopeless or anything, I'm pretty social and people like me, and I have dated cute women.
