Open relationship; dating two guys at once?

So I've been dating my boyfriend (let's call him guy a) for a few months he's super sweet, attentive and smart...we have an open relationship and were very open about the other people we sleep with...(but its always just sex)

In comes guy b...we meet about a year ago...but back then he was in a relationship...we ran into each other about a month ago and went out...he's hot, charismatic and we can talk for hours

While me and guy a have spent more time together and have invested more time in our relationship...we our complete opposites when it comes to music, hobbies, etc.

Guy a is what I would describe as nice and stable while guy b is unpredictable and makes me feel butterflies

Idk if I should pursue a relationship with guy b while still seeing guy a? Me and my boyfriend might have an open relationship but I feel like if I actually develop feelings for guy b that'll upset him...since everyone else we've been seeing has been casually.

Basically what I got from this is that you just have sex with a lot of people and have made no actual commitment to any of them (open relationship? Wtf kind of deal is that?) So...I don't see why you can't just cut all ties with "Guy a" and officially date "guy b."

I think open relationships are to confusing.

You might wanna cross over from an open relationship to polyamory which is actual relationship with multiple people vs. a relationship with one person and sex with additionals.

I think you should have a discussion with everyone involved. If everyone is fine with it, then go for it and see what happens.
