If your girlfriend is always hiding or turning the laptop when your next to her what would you think?

ok my girlfriend for 5 years now is always doing this when of twitter or social sites,I want to ask her for her twitter password cause of the insecurity with that but I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do, But I went ahead and she was like "No way,Not at all ,that I need to trust her. What do I do? What do you all think?

I agree with the guys comment on this one. I myself am a very private person which doesn't mean I don't deserve to be trusted. As I am very faithful. It just means I respect other people's privacy and might feel comfortable sharing personal info with a select number of people. I'm also easily embarrassed. And if there's something I want my boyfriend to know I think I deserve the right to tell him my way, not through him ease dropping and most likely misinterpreting information.

Now clearly her behavior is a problem for you. You need to communicate this with her, rather than request total control of her privacy. That shows you have no trust for her, and arnt willing to work on it either. I suggest telling her what makes you nervous, ask her about what she's doing, who she's talking to etc. Little by little this is a window to establish trust between you two. Don't demand things, don't assume things. Just calming show curiosity. And you should know in time by the answers you get whether you can trust her or you can't. If you find out you cant, then you need to find someone you can.

If my boyfriend always turned his laptop, I would automatically assume that they are hiding something.

I would call him out on it, and ask why he is turning it. And, make him show me.

You shouldn't hide anything in a relationship. And, unless she is some covert CIA agent, I don't think she should have any reason to neglect you from her password either. I mean, if she has nothing to hide, then what the hell? 5 years...its like marriage. What is hers, should be yours. I have been with mine for 4 years. And, he can have all my passwords, only because I would want him to be comfortable and confident.

Thank God there's people with common sence out here like us,Okay after being together for so long she brokeup with me last year like 10th of November ,Locked me off completely,phone,fb,ect. she was at her moms and I home, We were living together in house for about 4 years.I am the only guy she's ever been with from my knowing cause we live/slept togther for years since she was 14 and I 16 we where close friends, So I couldn't just give it up so I asked and even beg her to be with me she said No

She told me she's inlove with another man. Who is her friend for one month only and she loves him. she also said he's very rich and wants to buy her dream house and fulfill her dreams, But Its so hard to live and put your all into someone and they just giving up on you! I still beg her to consider 5 and a half years to one month,but she said that he really loves and understands her, I went to her home and even then she said no,but later on that night she called and said she'll be with me

I was happy but very sad that I had to fight for her after all we,d been through together. she told me that she was be foolish to even consider 5 years to one month, But also said she still really loves him and she don't know if she'll ever get over him, But I want her so I told her let us be good and she will, But now where back together and she's constantly listning sad songs and looking sad at times,she change alot.Like turning the lap top whenever I am around her.

Something is weird with this. Something happened with this guy. I am not sure what, but it seems like something happened, where she is sad and depressed and went back to you. First off, I doubt that guy was for real.When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. It sounds like, either she isn't happy with you, or that guy did something to her to make her change. Most likely the 2md one. And, it sounds like maybe she is angry with herself for hurting you? Idk. Message me if you like

Something is definitely wrong there, Next time she's on her laptop, act like you're trying to be cute and surprise bear hug her (sounds stupid, but something to that effect) and see if you can quickly glance at what she's looking at. It will seem harmless and if you do see something she can't say you were purposely spying.

Could be any number of things she wouldn't want you to see her looking at or talking about. Would you invite her to listen in on every conversation you have with a friend? It's called retaining a bit of privacy.

I hide my lap top because I don't want people to know that I'm not a full time student so every time I log into my university portal I will hide that information.
