i do,
i was in a virtual relationship with a guy for 8 months, around a year if we don't count the break ups and getting back together, we would chat everyday for about 5 hours and make videocalls
but it got the extreme where we couldn't just go on for the situation, I was glues to the screen most of the time, and I felt like I was waisting my life,
then we had problems like " why werent you on yesterday! " or things like that
so we ended up.

No, it's just a game, people play because they know it can't happen in real life because one person is ugly or they're just not suitable for each other physically or stuck in another country and can never meet.
I believe it in so far as a means to meeting potential love interests and developing feelings for the person. But virtual relationships need to be supplemented by meeting the person in real life, otherwise it's not complete.
For example, say you fall in love with someone on a dating website. Can you really get married or have a family just based on this form of interaction? Common sense applies.
