The concept of Hell throughout history has been accused as a figment of one's imagination, often leading to jokes and a platform to jeer those who believe in such a horrible place after death; A scare tactic to keep weak minded religous people in order to control and manipulate them for one's own benefit and rule power over them as a religious institution; Which in many cases was and is still done for mischief purposes.
Many theologians and pastors and many religious people have ponder about Hell throughout history and struggling to answer why a loving God will send his creation to a place that defies unimaginable agony for all eternity to those who question the concept of Hell.

The Lord Jesus who created hell told us that hell fire was created for the devil and his angles that joined Lucifer in rebellion in attempt to overthrow God to his throne in heaven which was a failure.

Hell And The Lake Of Fire. And What Happens Immediately Upon Physical Death.
Hell (Hades) and the Lake Of Fire are two similar places in terms that it is hot and for torment of the wicked (Unsaved) but distinct in their time period. Hell or Hades is a place where everyone goes upon physical death.
Hell (The bad part) is a temporarily conscious place until the day of resurrection to their final sentence; like a criminal being held without bond sitting in a county jail til He Or She appears to court before a judge for their permanent sentence in a state prison. The Lake Of Fire is a permanent place where a person is there physically forever buring without their body being consumed. Remember the buring bush God appeared to Moses? Yet the bush wasn't consumed.
Moreover, the saved goes to a part of Hades where they comforted called Abraham's bosom where the Lord Jesus and the criminal crucified next to him said to the Lord Jesus to remember him went upon death on the cross. It's where the saved wait until the day of resurrection to be reunited back in a glorious physical body.
The wicked upon physical death, however, goes to a part of Hades of great heat in torment. He or She is not there physically since his or her body is in the grave, but rather He or She is in a spiritual realm being conscious of their torment.
Many Christians or religious people think that once a person dies, that they are in a term called "Soul Sleep" where a person isn't conscious at all until the day of judgment or the garbage lie the Cathoic Chruch teaches about purgatory, but that isn't true at all nor Biblical.
Jesus told a true story about a wicked rich man and a poor sick man that once lived named Lazarus. And what happened to them both when they died. Many Christians like to say that story was a parable, but that isn't so. Everytime the Lord Jesus told a parable, the Bible says "And He told them a parable" to let us know the story isn't real, but to rather to convey a message.
And also the Lord never uses specific names when telling a parable. In this particular story about the rich and poor man He mentions a specific name to let us know this man named Lazarus really lived.

“There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Hebrews 9:27: And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.
Ecclesiastes 9:5-6:
For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, And they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; Nevermore will they have a share In anything done under the sun.
*A dead person doesn't know anything about what is going on under the sun on earth anyone. But they are conscious in the spiritual realm of their fate.
Why Is The Lake Of Fire Forever? And Who Are The Company Of Such A Place?
God's word tells us why He has such a vicious and strick judgement on the wicked. I'm not going to post all the scriptures, but for one God is Holy and loves holiness and righteousness as his word declares. But the judgment is forever because God won't tolerate sin or any disrespect. Basically it's a threat to let people know not to cross a line with him or they will face terrible consequences for it.
The threat of Hell fire is like the government that has strick laws that whoever breaks them will face serious time if not a life sentence behind bars. So the majority of people keep the laws or think twice before committing a crime. Because if there was no consequences for anything, people will do horrible things without a care in the world. God's word indirectly tells us why Hell fire is forever.
Ecclesiastes 3:14:
I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.
I like I said it's for everyone to fear God. Godly fear means to reverence the Lord. Pay him great homage as He deserves as everlasting King Of Kings and Lord Of Lords or else face his great wrath.

Why Did God Create Hell? What Is The Difference Between Hell And The Lake Of Fire? And What Happens At The Final Resurrection Of The Dead?
You don't desire to believe nor accept God nor his word. You reject the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. You reject the Holy Spirit. You reject the idea to submit to God's authority over you as everlasting king. But God will rule over you anyways like it or not. Either in heaven or in hell. You choose buddy.
Bro, God isn't a regular human being like us. He is deserving of great homage because He is everlasting God. Why are you so hell bent on disrespecting God?
I told you already. Just because He is God. Think about that. He is from everlasting with no beginning in terms of being created nor end. That alone makes him absolute worthy of respect. Nothing can be compare to his glory and might. He is the one and only God. That's why He deserve great honor before all. To not give him great homage and glory is to put yourself before him which no human is worth doing so. To put yourself before him is self idolatry.

its not about not believing its about the purpose of humans. we were created as vessels for God's grace. god is the prima causa, the first cause. from Him all life springs. detachment from His grace equals detachment from eternity. God offers divinity, if you rejecte it, He gives you every right to do so, but you are then left with unlife. he who doesn't serve light uncosciously serves darkness. this is hard to explain to an atheist but only a repented person in Christ truly transforms into a person of light. there is no true atheist or agnostic only antitheists. whoever doesn't serve god unwillingly is subdued by His enemy the devil. the point of this brief earth life is to repent in Christ and rebridge the gap of the fall through divine humility.
ladsin remember that God has no need for our worship or our praise. He has nothing to benefit from us, we have the whole world to benefit from Him. and these protestant explantions that he is the only worth worshipping are childish. I believe this entire concept to be fundamentally flawed as its nothing like my own experiences.
As a christian you will know your not supposed to worship an image of god. This is often refereed to statues or portraits in the books from what i can remember. It tells you not to worship false gods as there is only one.
What most people don't realize is that that shouldn't be taken literal. It refers to religion on its own. The concept of god as a man for example, or a literal concept of hell.
Personally i see the christian concept of hell to be purely there for population control and fear mongering. God is love, so if he is love then why would he condemn those capable of loving? They say god is forgiving, and if he does forgive then why does he condem for a lifetime?
From the signs i have received and the way that an angel (For the lack of a more accurate description) communicated with me i can tell they value free will above anything else. They allow you to screw up, its the only way to learn from your mistakes and grow as a whole. This can take many lifetimes but in my view its not so static as it seems. To me heaven or hell are not black and white, instead you return to a place equal to who you are. The layers are as varied as people can be. And when its time you can go to a planet like ours to test who you are and travel between these worlds. Earth is a gathering of all kinds of sources, allowing you to grow as a being. After your journey trough earth you logically return to the right place for you to be and when you are ready for your next run you will be reborn on a planet for further development or to carry out a mission.
As you can see my look at things is combined from a whole lot of sources. I don't claim it to be true, and no version was ever confirmed trough a sign. They purpusely don't do that so people don't follow one version blindly. If we all knew the truth everyone would follow them blindly and there would not be free will.
And for those in fear, at the end of the road you will be your own judge. If you genuinely think you are intentions are pure you have nothing to fear.

Not sure I am following. You keep moral laws such as murder, theft.. etc? In case I misunderstood, what about the acts made by Christians following some of these verses, such as killing believers of other religions, like Christian in McDowell who bought a gun to kill jews. Or others like The murder of Dr. George Tiller in 2009 by a christian, The Centennial Olympic Park bombing by the Army of God, Phineas Priesthood member Larry Steven in 2014... and the list goes on.

First all God didn't create you. He created Adam and Eve. And just because God knows the future doesn't mean you are stripped of your own free will. God doesn't create robots.
That second quote is interesting. Think about it, difference between human and animal is the brain. It's said that life is a test, and while brains make humans independent thinkers, if it's all due to God's will then there's no point. God creates circumstances which tests humans, but at the same time, human action create circumstances, and therefore human action is by God's will. And if you knew the result, then what's the point of taking the test. Elements in life result in these circumstances, and therefore it is also by God's will. We have not found an end to the brain capacity, maybe one day we will. Unexplained paradoxes, parallel universe theories and everything. Me thinking like this is a part of the brain capacity, which is by God's will. And so on. Again there's no point if everything is by God's will. Then again there's still possibility of a rational explanation somewhere in the brain capacity, but then again, rationality is created by God's will.
And so, finding a satisfying answer to everything is possible by God's will. It's an endless paradox, but it gives and can still give answers, and it makes a lot more sense than explanations created by atheism, which provides little explanation that is very much into the beginning of a toddler's brain capacity.
so why is it that this hell is only mentioned in the new testament? do the people that lived before 2,000 years ago still go to hell? they were never told that if they didn't worship some dude in the sky they would "burn" for eternity. hell, many civilizations didn't even know of this god and yet are condemned to burn in hell and suffer agony from your just and merciful god who you just say is only punishing them because they refused but how can you refuse something if you dont know about it?

civilizations follow a polytheistic system. Which means it is gods agianst God. These lowere gods are demons or fallen angels that once were Angels, but wanted to be gods themselves. So they fell down to earth, tricked humans, mate with them, and created giants and teh mythical creatures we are taught are only fictional. There were real. And some are still alive today.
@Hispanicdude i actually did read that whole thing you wrote. there was what one passage in isaiah about lucifer being cast to sheol. it didn't mention any sinners, heathens, or nonbelievers being sent their for eternal torment and damnation. and psalms 11? fire and brimstone? that just sounds like sodom and gomorhea (sp) to me. so people dont go to hell by accident and yet when god commands the Israelites to say march around jerhico because they are evil/in their land/whatever and destroy every man women and child, this includes babes who are sucking at their mothers teet. i would say at the very least the children being murdered had no chance at knowing this evil merciless god who condemned them to eternal damnation because they were born in the wrong town unto parents who were of the wrong race. but maybe you're right those kids are wicked as hell and clearly deserve to suffer for all eternity.

No true at all. Again, people sense and know there is something out there, but the search for it the wrong way, and get caught up into trouble. Now there is no excuse for it because those who are able to travel to the lands that haven't heard, should and will receive it as it is prophesied. It is still a choice. People either seek God, or they don't. Many don't ponder to wonder out of their own free will. Tells you right there in the Bible what's in the hearts of man. Mainly in Psalms.

If they don't have the desire to truly seek God for themselves, then who is responsible for that? They are. Not God. We are all responsible for our own salvation. There are people in nations like China, who are often banned from reading the Bible and pledge allegiance to a communism government. And they find a way to seek and praise God. Because they want to know him. There are people who grew up in the church and they walk out of their own free will. And if they personally feel that their current church isn't supplying the spiritual feeding that they need, then all they have to do is get off their butt and find another church. But no. They just abandon the faith altogether. It's all about faith. And people lack it today. Back then, people knew God. Experienced his presence fully and completely. God literally WALKED with them in spirit. Today, it is all but a foreign dream one would hope to experience like the days of old. And the further it is from our reality, the more we call it

Christians created Hell as a way of scaring the gullible into believing. The concept was stolen, again, from the Pagans who believed in Hel. Hel was a person and place that everybody went to when they died in the Pagan ideology. But because Christians can't be original they ripped it off and call it their own.

God created hell to balance the forces of nature... hell is a must if heaven shall exist... It's not necessarily that people will actually go there, some might, but forces need to be balance otherwise strange things start to happen

Anytime. Pick up God's word and begin to read it. I strongly suggest to stay away from the modern versions like NIV, NLT, ESV and others. Stick with the NKJV which is the one I use which sounds more accurate and like God's word.
