If you ignore the actual reasoning people give you for believing in X, or not believing in Y, and instead substitute it for your own imagined arguments, you instantly guarantee your counterargument will not convince anyone of anything.

You don't understand non-believers at all. I don't hate the Bible or God. I accept the Bible for what it demonstrably is -- an artifact of human culture. I reject the Bible as a source of truth. Belief is not a matter of choice. I can no more believe in the God of the Bible and the miracles of Jesus than I can believe in the Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus or Leprechauns or Homeopathy or Astrology.

Too much religion stuff for me, man. To me, religions are just lies spread by people back in the days, but because people had so little answers on everything around them, and the stuff the religious people said tied everything together, it sounded to the people like ''common sense'', when it's just straight up nonsense.

I don't believe in a thing/person, or whatever you wanna call God, that can control everything. That to me sounds ridiculous.

There are many reasons that people don't believe in Christianity. I just don't believe that the Christian God exists. I also think that many of the beliefs and many of the things written in the Bible are contradictory and are easily dis-proven with science, however whenever these things are pointed out to a Christian they tend to twist the meaning of certain things and do their best to justify their beliefs no matter what. I think it's a religion for the simple minded.
