How Christians can get what they want and why they do not currently have it

How Christians can get what they want and why they do not currently have it

Matthew 6:33 teaches that when you pursue first the priorities of God, and pursue second to become the type of person that God wants you to be, that he adds all other things to you, what you need, what you desire, what you do not know you need, what you do not know you desire, what you will need tomorrow and also what you will desire tomorrow.

Now if you note, the bible says these things will be added unto you, it does not say and it is added unto you, meaning God is promising a future of satisfied desires and needs and not necessarily a present or past of satisfied desires and needs. Some needs require immediate satisfaction like food and water while other needs can be delayed for a period of time, such as the need for moral purification and spiritual understanding, so it is important to think not only of immediate needs but also tertiary abstracted needs when you consider this verse.

Pursue God’s priority of saving people either physically or emotionally or spiritually and maintaining the quality of life for those already saved or being saved and pursue God’s priority of excellence in conduct and self performance and modesty and humility and devotional worship.

Pursue also God’s desire for you to perfect your heart and mind and soul by seeking and pursuing God and striving with God’s power and aid to trouble shoot problem areas in your personality.

And God promises that one day, all your needs and desires and wants will be satisfied and provided for, so long as you are willing to surrender your needs and desires to God’s throne of worship and His priorities and His principles, and His goodness.
