Why Comfort and Luxury is not always good - Bible Talk

The bible says that when a man acquires worldly wealth but is not grateful and loving towards God, He will lose his sense and the bible says those who are rich have exploited the comforts that God had designed for them to enjoy after living righteously and possibly only to receive in the next life.

When somebody’s life is saturated with physical beauty and riches but the person isn’t emotionally responsive to God or His love or the cry of His conscience or the people around him, it leads to an imbalance that causes emotional poverty and depression and I believe the overemphasis on riches and under emphasis on purpose and meaning and conscience accounts for almost all the mental health issues affecting middle class and upper class people in North America and Europe.

The other problem is that having too much wealth or comfort without sacrifice and humility and hard work will corrupt you morally and emotionally and spiritually and psychologically and socially and mentally. The bible teaches that lazy people hold grudges and recall past mid deeds and are ensnared in cycles of Pride and egotism and bitterness and vindictiveness and judgment and hate and that people who lack humility die spiritually when they satisfy their material desires. It also says a man who becomes rich without acquiring his wealth through God, has such a difficult time entering heaven that even animals are better off than him in the kingdom of God.

I know people in my family who are rich and ethical but they worked hard for their wealth and lived selfless lives dedicated to the welfare of others to achieve their high financial standards, one married housewife i knew walked upright in heels for 6-12 hours a day multiple times a week at her job and than climbed over 2 kilometres up hill while carrying a 20+ pound baby in her arms and worked 3 jobs at the same time during her dating years to create her lifestyle as the rich house wife. There is no such thing as free money because you will either pay for it willingly or unwillingly by the laws of karma. If you want to be comfortable, become middle class: wealth is for those who are willing to suffer and pay for it.
