Why riches are temporary - bible talk

In Proverbs 23:5 New International Version, it says

“Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,

for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle.”

There are different ways to interpret that.

One is that riches do not last after you die and meet God.

Another is that riches do not last because you spend it and it needs to be restored through new works.

The way I see that, is, riches do not create lasting value, because you adapt to it, and it ends up not being enough, after a while and you end up craving more.

Love is the only thing that lasts, the amazing things you buy do not bring lasting happiness but love does.

Because when we die we can't have our money because we can't touch things anymore like we use too so this is why there is a thing called "last will"and that last will will give to the Charity or to the person's relatives that will carry there legacies

There is a polish song by Zakopower. It's called "Boso" (barefoot). It says, that when you die, you leave all things you collected on Earth behind. When you go to another world, you leave all your clothes, you go there "barefoot". The chorus says:
"And not until God calls
I will say goodbye to all those things,
and again I will go barefoot,"

If God is love then, yes only love is endless but I don't think that is what it means personally.
MY INTERPRETATION:
Definition of - Glance - take a brief or hurried look

"4Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
(Hard work is not the secret)
do not trust your own cleverness.
(Don't trust what seems obvious because it is wrong; explaining the last line. Or don't trust the appearance of things)

(Absence of focusing on riches Within causes lack Without)
for they will surely sprout wings

(Those who have not within, will lose even what they have without)

I am not a very greedy person, but I think the idea of having to work and have a purpose to save up money to buy that thing you wanted, is very satisfying. That doesn't mean I love money per se.

But why does God have to be such a jealous God that we can't both love him and continue having the things we had on earth (providing they were not sinful or harmful).

God did not say that money is evil. Some people think like that because of the school system and other factors. God wants us to live in abundance, especially when we use this abundance for his blessing. Money is a life tool.
