Why you need to be a genuine and honest person

As a Christian, I believe that what goes around comes around and it does not just come around but it comes around to haunt you. This is not my word, but the word of a guy I used to talk to at school who became a doctor.

I knew a guy years ago, good looking, filthy rich, married to a beautiful and intelligent and hard working woman who loved him dearly, he started sending me death threats and using fake profiles to try to discover my home address, and mocked me and threatened me anonymously.

Now 9 years later, he is brain damaged, living on welfare, eating a starvation diet and divorced and he is mentally ill, jobless and friendless and his own family does not have contact to him.

I know three girls who were not religious that joined Christian fellowships to meet Christian guys, and all three were stalked and slandered by fake christians who joined the Christian fellowship to meet Christian woman. I also know girls way smarter than me who were abused by their boyfriends and used for their bodies, even though a normal person would assume that smarter people get better dating prospects and I know guys way smarter than me who married nasty woman that treated them me like trash.

I also know people who lost respect for poor people after succeeding in their careers and years later, the rich snobs are broke and poor and the rich people they once socialized with now ignore them.

Karma gets you where you are at, and you can’t lie to God, a fake will either be discovered as a fake or they will attract another fake. Likewise, if you mock poor people, you will one day be the poor person that others are mocking. If not poor financially, you may be sick or depressed or mentally ill or in a bad living situation. A guy from church said he was friends with a millionaire with 8 cars in his garage but the rich guy’s health was so bad that he could not operate a vehicle and he was dependent on his friends for rides everywhere he went.

I totally agree and I'd say it one step further. I just went on a "date" with a Christian recently but it was more like a friendly chat.

She said how involved she was with her church and how she went on missions. For me, I'm just at a different place in my walk then her. I think it pays off to be with a Christian that can mirror your walk rather than force you into something your not quite ready to commit to.

To be honest with them and say I'm not walking in the same way you are, I'm at a different place than you. To be honest and bold with that.

I don't look at porn but a bold and fair point is to say, I struggle looking at porn (as christians tend to avoid things of that nature), but I'm still a Christian. It's a bold thing to say but it's honest. You are not lying but being open with your partner.

It's good to share and be open, hopefully to a person that can be understanding and do the walk with you, helping you through your struggles as you help your partner through theirs

I remember that one family gathering we went to, where my uncles and aunties had already arrived and we were chatting around the table. I’m really good looking and that uncle is somewhat of a pervert (me and my sisters know it and they’re good looking too, but everyone else tries to ignore it). He could not stop staring at me ALL FKN DAY and then he started throwing chips at me out of nowhere. I was shocked. My sister intervened and she said for him to stop. That was so horrible and I started calling him out for it. And you know what? THAT SAME UNCLE IS NOW GOING THROUGH A PAINFUL DIVORCE and he is devastated because she took the house, the kids and everything else tbh, which nobody thought that would happen in our family. Nobody in out family has had a divorce except him. Karma? I think so.
by the way that same uncle also made some “arrogant” comments in the past. He WAS one of the wealthier guys in the family and he looked down on the lower class suburbs complaining that he doesn’t want to eat there etc. Now he lives in one of them suburbs. My God! Karma is real so spread positivity and mind your fkn business.

And also that same uncle now depends on me and my other sister (who he sorta had a falling out with too) to handle some things for him lol he’s completely dependent on us for it.

But I forgave him. A higher power had my back and I don’t need to punish people for the mistakes they made.

I agree. Karma is the best thing. Had this once with a toxic supermarketmanager. He kept forcing me to overwork, refusing to pay me my salary, trashtalked about me to other collogues and fired me after two months for no reason.
Now, almost 4 year later. He is extremely ill, is getting more blind every month (some kind of illness what causes that) and is deaf. Including he will probably die in some years due to the illnesses.
And me? I'm extremely happy to hear this. I love how he suffers. I love the fact he will pay for what he did to me. Okay i still have never recieved my salary from the overwork, but this will do also fine. I can't wait to recieve the news he died in a painfull and long death.

As a person who is non religious but wet through a lot of false narratives without realizing I was not being genuine and honest even with myself I do believe being genuine and honest are two important characteristics since I know from first hand experience what is it like not being genuine and not being honest.

imho, the three rules for the earth plane are -
1. Be honest, unless you are dealing with dishonest people or corrupt systems,,,
2. Be genuine, if you offer help, offer for the benefit of the helpee, and on THEIR terms not yours, and not for for your own self aggrandisement or to get some advantage for yourself, the proviso above also applies here,,,

To tell a lie is an offense to yourself and those around you. If you can't be honest with yourself and others, then others will view that as who you are. We all know lying is nothing but manipulation of a situation.
