My thoughts on 666 in the bible - New Ideas

I believe that 666 is a symbol for passion

Because 6 is a symbol for knowledge

And the first taste knowledge is when Adam and Eve received the knowledge of good and evil

Now good passions exist, such as a passion for gratitude, a passion for compassion, a passion for mercy, a passion for kindness, a passion for charity, a passion for excellence, a passion for service

I am referring to evil passions such as the passion for materialism and irresponsible physical indulgence (the mark on the forehead)

Or a passion for hatred and punishment (the mark on the right hand)

I believe the beast of 666 is Xerxes in scripture, also sometimes known as Artaxerxes, because often times in Hebrew, letters are written without vowels and the Gematria system uses the letter S = 6. So Xerxes would be 666.

In the bible; Xerxes kills Haman, because he is passionate about his wife, and Haman is trying to rob him of the one who incites his deepest passions. This event is celebrated by alcohol and intoxication and alcohol is associated with emotional intoxication and delusion and unattainable goals and visions.

To die to the world as Jesus taught or to lose your life as Jesus taught, is to replace unrighteous passions like hatred or greed, with righteous passions like kindness and affection and tenderness and purpose.

That is how I interpret 666.

Oh! And it's important that in the bible, its not written as "666" or "six six six" but "six hundred sixty six" so you can't translate the number six to letters but the entire number

I have a calculation for that too, but that would me the beast is Eve or Chava rather than Xerxes

I think in this kind of numerology the number is supposed to be reduced to a single digit like this:

6+6+6 = 18
1+8 = 9 and 9 is number of the ego (separation/selfishness/veiling of love/root of evil/illusion).

Whatever you multiply 9 with always gets you back to 9 and adding 9 to any other number doesn't add anything, you get back to the original number.
