I read millionaires read an average of one book a week and bill gates reads 150 pages an hour, Oprah Winfrey started her own book club and I know two aspiring doctors who read 2 books a week despite having very busy schedules and the smartest people I know are all book lovers. Now I AM NOT HERE TO TALK ABOUT BOOKS! I am here to talk about something far important: A smart person is willing to learn from others and to integrate their life experience into his own. If a person claims to be intelligent but never learns from anybody’s experience other than his own, or fails to recognize wisdom when he encounters it, you can be certain he is being fraudulent in his claim to intelligence, a smart person listens just as much as he speaks and watches just as much as he shows, because he is aware that other people have knowledge he can learn from, a girl with no female friends or a guy with no male friends, a guy or girl with no younger friends and a guy or girl with no interest in older people is somebody who sees no value in others and is guaranteed to fail at living. So the sign of a stupid person is they try to teach others without first teaching themselves, leading to increasing stupidity and foolishness.

I think it can be helpful to learn off of people but it isn't always helpful. Eg. I woudlnt need to know how to deal with an earthquake loving in the UK but I do need to know how to deal with a flood

I'm sorry, but Bible or God isn't mentioned anywhere in the piece. Why is it a part of the title?
