This is my Christian Understanding of the 10 Commandments

My Theory on the Ten Commandments

Do not worship money or physical delight or reputation or beauty

Do not worship ego or pride

Do not speak empty words or ignorant ones

Keep your obedience holy, honourable, gracious, beneficial and grateful

Take care of your family when it’s possible and safe to do so

Do not hate or harm the livelihoods of others or disqualify their existence, energy, or emotions

Do not desire another or abandon your partner

Do not take what is not yours

Do not think evil of others without evidence

Do not be bitter or stingy or possessive or controlling or materialistic or objectifying or jealous

Good analogy
But just remember the old law is dead and was replaced by the one law to rule them all
Love one another.
Of you love, you will obey all else as love makes you do right
It does not mean you have have a love like you do for your significant other, family, friends...
It means showing them you have love in your heart... that you have the love of Jesus in you.. by showing kindness...
Everyone can quote John 3:16 but far less know this verse...

For this is how we should know how to live. JESUS layer HIS life down for us so could. We should be willing to do the same for our brothers and sisters
That does not mean to die physically...
It means put your phone down for a few minutes and listen to that person who is having a bad day
It means stopping at the burger joint and buying a burger fir the guy you know will at the next light, even though you were saving for a new game. Being inconvenienced with gladness
Would only mean a literal death as if you were in a situation life a robbery... you know someone is gonna be shot. If you chose to be that person saving the lives of those around you as you did not know if they were saved, but you know you are... then and only then the literal.. and only if you felt it was the right thing to do and was compelled to do so
