The Applicability of Desolation in the Souls Ascension

The book of Daniel says desolations have been decreed which means it’s part of your growth and development and I believe it comes for three reasons

1 - To cleanse you from superficiality and materialistic greed

2 - To test your commitment by seeing what you will choose when the old value system is gone

3 - As a repudiation due to conflicts with others or curses incurred

I find the cleansing is the strongest reason God sometimes allows you to be desolate
