This is a really interesting topic. As a Christian, I can understand why reincarnation doesn't totally line up with traditional Church teachings. But at the same time, there's a lot we don't fully understand about life, death and the afterlife. Those stories of kids remembering past lives are really mysterious - hard to explain how a little kid could know such specific details from so long ago in some random place!
Personally, I don't think you necessarily have to totally reject one belief or the other. Maybe there are things beyond what any one religion explains fully. The Bible doesn't mention reincarnation directly as far as I know, but it also doesn't say it's impossible. And some Christian thinkers have wondered if Jesus' teachings about being "born again" could be connected somehow. All I'm saying is, it might be okay to keep an open and curious mind. Faith is a journey, right? No need to feel like you have to have everything totally figured out. I'd just keep learning, questioning and following your heart on what makes the most sense to you spiritually. God's pretty big - bigger than any one religion perhaps.

I'm spiritual, not religious! I believe there is much in The Universe we do not understand, especially in regards to multiple dimensions, and parallel universes.
Children simply overhear bits and pieces of conversation in infancy which gets stored in the brain. Something such as a key word then brings it to the surface.
We see the same thing in musicians. They think they've created something new but are just recalling an old tune they heard decades ago and end up getting sued.
We know that under hypnosis people remember word for word things they read in a book as a child. The mind never forgets anything.
