1, contrast three parallel versions, about a creator, in greek bibles: In john: "Through him [jesus] all things were made" john 1.3 niv, this seems to english-speakers different from "All things were made by him" because done "by" him means he did, but greek depends.

when english-speakers read king james version, they are influenced by English grammar, "the king was fooled BY the magician, means the magician fooled the king" so "All things were made by him" is the same as "he made all things"... in English, except that greek is a different language... THEREFORE niv' made a more precise translation. other translations too: "New Living Translation john 1,3: God created everything through him [Jesus], and nothing was created except through him".

otherr translations that knew that English readers would be influenced by English grammar as above, switched the word to "through" whis is more precise than by, di is "a means like a channel". at least twenty translations "changed" from king james due to this issue and made a more precise translation "through him" which is more precise but even kjv meant "greek by" as above so not really an argument.

Three even dared to add a word to teach "father" creator to avoid this issue, because greek differs from English.

The translation, called Contemporary English Version for john 1,3: "with this Word, God created all things." Good News Translation: Through him God made all things" so only due to our habit of switching the order for "by", do these translations seem to argue who is the creator... but when the bible said "the king herod was fooled by the magicians" it wrote "pooro" that is the "by" that can change order. but "di" is a different "by" as above.

2, the average reader, reading these 35 translations all TOGETHER at bible hub would burst into laughter at the absurdity... some would even MOCK "look at all these opposing versions" but that is just because they do not know that "pooro" is not the same as "di"... americans and British do not know greek!

when English speakers read "created by him" they think jesus created but the writer did not use the direct verb!

In genesis the greek septuagint said the direct verb "1:1 in arke epoiesen" with the specific "ho theo" for god like "theo-logy" is the study of theo god. " in arke epoiesen" means "in first time he made" this is preserved in the parallel in book hebrews 1.2 "he has spoken to us by [en=in] his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through [di] whom also he made the universe" writing "epoiesen" the same direct verb in genesis. this author knew book john and some readers will consider this inconsistent , but it clarified what john wrote, "by jesus" meant he created through jesus.
