A man showing middle finger to god, Will you consider him theist or atheist?

This question is not to insult any religion. i do respect all the religions but asking this question to understand others.

So there is a man insulting god and saying you don't exist. Is he theist or atheist in your opinion? and why?

I'd consider him theist as while insulting, he accepts the existence of god.

Depends the context. Some people are atheists making satires and don't believe in god, but just tells a story about what they would do if God existed and the world still has suffering. It's like a person telling a story how they would react if Superman existed.

But it exists theists who's disappointed over God too and therefor do that.

A theist. Raising the middle finger shows anger or disappointment with something, and you don't feel anything for something that you don't believe in. Atheists do not get angry with god because they don't believe in him. By showing the middle finger to god, you declare your belief in him.. and anger.

How can he possible say God don't exist but is standing before Him and giving Him the dumbest and most insulting remark ever? I'm sorry but that is without a doubt the most STUPIDEST and most DANGEROUS thing to do at God while standing before Him. Just seeing him do it would make me feel like my soul is in trouble.. its not wise at all.

Atheist. He's not flipping off God, because he doesn't believe in a god. He's doing it for anyone else who might be watching. It's like saying "See this? I don't give a crap about your god."

I wouldn't assume either, tbh. I'd say they have a trouble relationship with god, in w/e form they see him, and/or with the church that espouses the teachings of such a god. That is all.

As an atheist myself, I don't see a need to insult God. He doesn't exist. But I will only point out his flaw while debating a theist. Like if they make the claim that God is 100% good, they should prepare themselves.

I'm not sure what I would say, I mean the guy flipping off God could mean that he believes god exists and is angry with God. The finger might be more directed at religious people and the concept of spirituality though, and not actually God.

If I saw a picture, like the one you posted on a bumper sticker or something I would think he is the sort of person that just enjoys getting a rise out people, fun at the expense of others who have a reputation for being easy to trigger.

actually no i can't handle it. as long as i remember, I'm atheist. i had many debets with religious people. after all, they are going to believe in their religion only so why should i waste my time convincing them?
