Why was Jesus falsely accused of being demon possessed?

As many people are well aware, Jesus was accused to get His power by joining forces with Satan. However, we can easily debunk this since Jesus constantly rebuked Satan. Do you think this accusation was due to people hating that Jesus holds spiritual authority and universal authority over righteousness and is the only way and they want to go their own way?

Please explain why people were so scornful and mocking of Jesus and is calling Jesus demonic a sin worthy of cleansing or does it bring guaranteed spiritual damnation into people's life?

What do you think it means to speak against the Holy Ghost? How is that different from speaking against Jesus?

The Holy Ghost and Jesus are two different things even tho they're one. But Jesus says "Whoever speaks against the Son of Man (Jesus) it shall be forgiven, but who ever blasphemes against the HOLY GHOST shall not be forgiven. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit has to do with accusing Jesus Christ of being demon-possessed instead of Spirit-filled. This particular type of blasphemy cannot be duplicated today. The Pharisees were in a unique moment in history: they had the Law and the Prophets, they had the Holy Spirit stirring their hearts, they had the Son of God Himself standing right in front of them, and they saw with their own eyes the miracles He did. Never before in the history of the world (and never since) had so much divine light been granted to men; if anyone should have recognized Jesus for who He was, it was the Pharisees. Yet they chose defiance. They purposely attributed the work of the Spirit to the devil, even though they knew the truth and had the proof. Jesus declared their willful blindness to be unpardonable. Their blasphemy against the Holy Spirit was their final rejection of God’s grace. They had set their course, and God was going to let them sail into perdition unhindered.

Jesus told the crowd that the Pharisees’ blasphemy against the Holy Spirit “will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come” (Matthew 12:32). This is another way of saying that their sin would never be forgiven, ever. Not now, not in eternity. As Mark 3:29 puts it, “They are guilty of an eternal sin > Blasphemy includes ridicule and attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to the devil.

It was because he was doing exorcism and making demons leave humans' bodies. So people started saying he would have to be involved with demons himself to have so much control over them.

People don't know the whole story;) I don't know if you are gonna like the story either:):)

To represent the absolute light Jesus had to face the core of the darkness and to embrace part of it himself. Since good that doesn't know evil can't be good because in absense of evil the term good loses his meaning since no comparison is possible.
That's why they were completely right saying he has demonic powers, yes of course he has. Everyone who can go so far has them independently of what kind of entity they originate for example the son of God. But the thing is despite having them his doing still remained on the way of light constantly. Of course something like that isn't mentioned anywhere, because of fear to confuse normal people with thoughts of mixing good and evil as natural component and requirement of the birth of truly good. That's why this knowledge is only revealed to worthy ones who will go that way in their lives, it's the dark side of the coin, well at least what it seems to be to normal people. It's only logical that true unity with God can't be achieved if you don't have both components of the world inside of you, cause god does, after all the fallen angel was his creation too and that means everything evil and dark has it's origin in God himself.

The mythology didn't make sense. The author's clearly didn't plan for such a passionate fandom.

Being possessed by a demon, according to the myths themselves, can only be a good thing. Demons work for Satan, a dude in charge of punsuging bad people, which is a good thing. So really, if the authors decided to make an alternate reality storyline, Jesus would be a far more powerful and interesting character.

You know how you find out if I'm holding a coin in my hand behind my back? You tell me to show it to you. If I can't, then you should assume that I'm lying.

If demons are a real thing, you can show that they exist. If they are just fantasy, you can't. And untill you can, they are fantasy aka don't exist.

If I want to know the truth, I must always assume that the person I'm talking to may know more than me. So that's why I'm asking to show me, cause there's always the possiblity that you do infact have a coin in you had behind your back so that's why I'm not believing you untill you show me.

The burden of proof for the claim that demons exist has not been met jet. so I'm giving you the chance to meet that burden of proof even though it has not been met by anybody in history. I personally don't think that will happen but I value truth more than what I think is true, which is a very hot tip that you should follow ;)
So this is your chance. Succeed where everyone else failed or fail and realize that you were wrong like the others about the existence of demons. That's how I would pursue truth. Cause that way you make sure, you're not wrong.

There is no burden of proof of nonexistence. Because you can not proof anything not to exist. You can not proof that unicorns don't exist and you in fact can not proof that any other god from any other religion doesn't exist. Therefore you choice of god has no reason. It is purely your subjective choice made without reason.

I can dismiss claims that there are demons without giving a reason because nobody gave any evidence for that assertion. I just gave you the chance to give me some evidence, which you didn't. So hence it is still asserted without evidence, I don't need evidence to dismiss it. That's how the burden of proof works. I know you wish you could turn it around but if you did that, that would mean every other god you don't believe in also exists and you don't even want that right?

you simply just copied the reasoning for why you must demonstrate what you claim. that's not how it works. you claimed there are demons. you didn't give any evidence for their existence so i can dismiss your claim without any evidence. this is how it works. if i claim that i have a million dollars in my hand right now, you can dismiss my claim also without any evidence, cause i didn't proof to you that i have a million dollar. though me having a million dollar would be way more believable cause we can observe people in the real world that have millions of dollars but not demons.

science has proven the "unseen world" that the legends of ghosts and spirits originate from already. we call it air. breathing air fuels metabolic processes in our bodies. it's not ghosts and spirits that were blown into us that make us alive.
