It honestly would make sense if they did since they are all offshoots of each other.
Technically yes. Individually, everyone has their own god.
haven't studied much comparitive religion have you? The Jewish god has horns and ears children.
@bean2thousand I am not Jewish, and I find that OFFENSIVE, as it is totally untrue, and part of a sad, PAST culture, that demonized the Jews, mostly, because they were smart, and educated, and had money. So the simple, stupid and poor ones, made up lies to degrade them, like so many other groups, in history.
Yes they are called Ibrahimic faiths. As in prophet Abraham.
I think so. But there's also trinity in Christianity
Different understandings on the nature of God, does not mean they don't worship the same God. The Trinity is a scripture based interpretation of the nature of God.
Who cares. All religions seem to do is cause division intolerance and war
Yeah, Godless societies could never be accused of the greatest atrocities against mankind in all of history. Stalin and Mao were just misunderstood humanists.
@Floppy2112 agreed but 2 wongs don't make a right
That I can get behind.
I do not subscribe to any of these religions so I cannot comment.
Islam said it's the same God but Christianity and Judaism they said God is different it's not the same
Might as well be lmao
Yes it’s the same god
i think there is only one god , for all religions just different getups and different names.
So why follow one certain religion's rules and not all of them?
In a way they surely do... through I don't think people can define God yet, too small mediocre minds but funny how they do so many things in 'his' name.
I don't think that the Jews or the Muslims believe that Jesus is God
You’re not wrong.
Interestingly enough, not every Christian denomination believes “Jesus is God” either. For example the Jehova’s Witness, reject the Trinity and believe that Jesus is God’s begotten son.
Not attacking you or anything please don’t misinterpret but I just thought I’d add that🙃🤷🏾♀️😂
@SpiderManFan2002 I think that you are right but The Jehovah Witnesses aren't considered Christians by other Christians
Oh really? I didn’t know that to be honest, but a genuine question here because I want to learn: how do you determine whether somebody is Christian? Because if that’s the case, then couldn’t Jehova’s Witness just say those Christians aren’t real Christians?
@SpiderManFan2002 I think Christianity is based on the belief that Jesus Christ is Divine. So Islam wouldn't be Christian even though they talk about Jesus. The Mormons are also not Christians
I’ll ask my Jehova’s Witness friend about this too if I see him again lol😂😂
@SpiderManFan2002 I was curious so I googled it. This is from Pew Research which is a very highly respected polling/research company.
Religious beliefs and practices
Jehovah’s Witnesses identify as Christians, but their beliefs are different from other Christians in some ways. For instance, they teach that Jesus is the son of God but is not part of a Trinity.
Oh cool, I know Pew I read their studies too☺️
I’ll still probably ask him next time I see him though, because it would be interesting to get his perspective on this as a JW too🤷🏾♀️
@SpiderManFan2002 understandable
I think God exists in everything.
Of course.. there is only 1 God.. there is no doubt about it
Good luck with people not fighting on a question like this haha
The Christian perspective is no because for Christians, Jesus is God. Muslims and Jews don't worship Jesus as God.
I love watching all these comments about your imaginary friends 🤣🤣🤣 what a waste of time
Do all Trekies believe in the same Spock?
I do. Despite all the different timelines.
Yes. Because there’s no such thing as god.
No. Christians worship the one true God. Jews and muslims worship Satan.
Yup. Same God.
Well there is only one God so of course they do.
Muslims and the Jewish have the same but Christians' different..
Why limit it to those three religions?
Because they are under the same umbrella
@Ellie-V All religion is under the "same" umbrella.
I would disagree but I think I get what you mean
all religion is a total pile of horse shit. nuff said
yes, all of them beleive that there's only 1 God
Everyone who believes in God has their own.
Yes, but their beliefs are different. I am Muslim
I guess soo.
Yes they do. The God of Abraham.
yes but they go by different names though
and two of the three don't believe jesus was god just a dead jew on a stick
who was a prophet. but christianity stole pagan beliefs. and jesus the jew wasn't born on December 25th his birthday was in the spring. constatine moved it to December 25th to coincide with the winter solstice
and the devil in christianity is pan in pagan religion
Catholics are the Pagans. And to an extent Europeans. But there are Christians from Asia and Africa who still practice the real religion
All celebrate the God of Abraham.
Yes - but do not tell the others
Not at all.
Yes, just a little different lore.
Lmao "please don't fight over this question".
No they don't
Would you expand on that?
No, of course not.
they're all false religions.
İf you believe to God yes all is same...
I believe they're the same God
yes of course, they are the abrahamic god
Uhhm u can say so
Yes the same
Yes, they do
Seems plausible.
Supposed to be...
Basically the God of the Quran refers to himself as the God of the new testament. The God of the new testament refers to himself as the God of the old testament.
So if you want to consider these historically as religious reforms uprisings for what is known as the faith of Abraham.
They should have no problem accepting one another as say different sects of the same faith...
But because of geopolitics, demography.. Etc. Each religion will represent a different POV on history, and therefore they have to compete and cancel each other.
They aren't in consensus in terms of the naming "Yaweh, Allah, Jahova, God, Jesus", nor are they in terms of the concept as sometimes he is a bearded man in the sky, and sometimes some unknown cosmic force.
Does it matter?
yes.
Afaik, no.
Nope
YES!
no...
Yes, all man-made
Yes they do
No we dont
