in biology, there is something called sexual selection. Women chose (or were chosen) to mate with men who were the strongest hunters or the strongest warriors. There's also an innate desire to choose a mate who can protect us and fight for us. All else being equal, the tall guy is almost ALWAYS chosen over the shorter guy.

She was a good little catholic girl and did a lot of praying. Her sister did way more praying than that. You know who cured her? ME!!! If I hadn't, she'd have been dead half a year earlier!! Her sister, same one as above, had a bladder infection and refused to go see a Dr. for it. She just sat here a prayed, repeated the rosary dozens of times a day, and all that other mumbo jumbo!! She died 7 months ago!! Where was god to help her when she begged and pleaded for help? My ex-sister lives and breathes the bible!!! Yet, a couple years ago, she severely fucked me and mom over because of her GREED!!! She and my other ex-sister had been robbing her blind!!! Why would god allow them to do that to us and make me suffer, all for a few thousand dollars? You want me to believe, have god show up at my birthday in a few weeks. He'll know when.

FunkyMonkee Perhaps the Catholic church is not the right religion as a former catholic I left that cult because I found no answer. Praying to statues , Rosary repeating the same thing over and over that is no conversation with God. I had my doughts as a young girl , A friend of mind invited me to her christian church every one seem so friendly and helpful. I found answers. Pulgatory thing makes no sense there is only heaven and hell no pulgatory. If you are interested if you like I could get a friend of mine to help you for more information. Most people at churches ARE friendly. A lot of us that never bother with that voodoo are extremely friendly, too!! Religion has nothing to do with how you chose to live your life. And, for she who Asked, atheism is NOT a religion!! There's no need for one!!
ALL churches claim the others are not the right one!! If y'all can't even agree whose god is the right one, and fight each other over it, why would I want to get involved with ANY of it?

@BlacklightShade Damned good question!! I've been asking the same thing for decades!!! Why are so many suffering, starving, sick and dying if there's a god? God can SUPPOSEDLY do ANYTHING!! That means, with a snap of it's finger, if it HAS fingers, it could fix EVERYTHING in a heartbeat!!! So, why doesn't it?
