Back in the day, children were indoctrinated to believe Christianity. It was perceived as good, right and just by devout Christians. Today, there is a push to teach our kids Marxist concepts, like the importance of "structures" and that one group always oppresses another. If forced to choose, which one would you pick?

Communism is like a perpetual motion mechine.
Best idea ever, but we have seen 1000 years of proof that it's never actially going to work.

I'm not sure if God is there or not, but I'm sure that the belief in him helps a lot of people in a lot of ways. Most people who try to sell you on Jesus actually believe it, and actually have some positive and helpful advice. If I could flip a switch and believe it wholeheartedly till the day I die, I would. I just struggle with the facts.

But anyone who tries to sell you a perpetual motion mechine is 100% full of shit and knows they are just trying to take your money. Communism is the same way. Nobody with half a brain actually believes it's going to make you happy. They just want you to give them all your money so they can be rich without having to work for it.

You say Marxism but i believe you mean egalitarianism the idea that all people should be equal. Sometimes that Christians claim to believe but you appear to not based on how this post was excused. And my choose not indoctrinate my children and teach the critical thinking skills and them think for themselves.

I think you don't understand Marxism.

But that's beside the point. I still think Christianity is a better belief system to teach kids.

There are already many many adults, like you for instance, who clearly don't understand what Marxism is, so I doubt kids can be taught to understand it.

Christianity. It has saved souls, fed and educated millions over the centuries, and built Western Civilization.

Marxism has murdered, tortured, enslaved, starved, and imprisoned countless millions in just 200 years.

Hmm I'd prefer scientific rationalism and liberal democracy to be the focus. But Christianity has at least proven it can produce relative peace and prosperity. Marxism on the other hand seems to cause corruption, famine and hearts full of hatered.
